Defending Secondary Schools Sports Division Under 20 Boys Volleyball Champions, the Isaiah Thomas secondary School (ITSS) will begin the defense of their title in the opening round of matches in that competition this afternoon.
The ITSS will meet the Orion Academy in one of six matches on the cards as that tournament gets underway across three venues.
The ITSS will play Orion in both the boys and girls division at the Windsor Park from 2pm.
In other matches today, the defending girls champions, the Dominica State College will open up their campaign against the Pierre Charles Secondary School at Grand Bay, the two schools will also meet in the boys division at Grand Bay.
And at the CHS grounds, Convent High School “B” will play the Wesley High School and Convent High School “A” takes on the Dominica Grammar School (DGS).
In total 13 teams are participating in this year’s Championship.
