Senior Counsel Tony Astaphan has described comments made by Opposition Leader Lennox Linton about the citizenship by investment program on the CBS television show 60 minutes as inaccurate and far from the truth.

Astaphan described the opposition leader’s remarks as unpatriotic and said that Linton used the opportunity to paint a negative image of the Dominica’s citizenship by investment program.

Astaphan also addressed the issue of the diplomatic passport issued to Alison Madueke, a former Nigerian Oil Minister arrested for suspected bribery and money laundering.

And says that Rudolph King, a Bahamian fugitive, was never Dominica’s Ambassador to Bahrain.
