Senior Dominican attorney Peter Alleyne has welcomed improvements to the High Court in Roseau.
The High Court began sessions today, for the first time since the passage of Hurricane Maria in 2017.
The first trial for the January court session is set for Monday January 21st, 2019.
One case of murder, death by dangerous driving, theft, unlawful sexual intercourse, grievous bodily harm, wounding and burglary are among matters for the January court sessions.
High Court Judge Victoria Charles Clarke will preside over the session.
