Dominica’s Senior Women’s National Team, the Sisserou Girls, are gearing up for an important CONCACAF Women’s Qualifier against Jamaica on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Daren Sammy Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia.

This match is a key moment in Dominica’s ambition to raise the profile of women’s football in the region and make a strong mark internationally.

Head Coach Ronnie Gustave expressed pride in his team’s dedication, discipline, and resilience, noting that the players have been training with heart and are prepared to represent Dominica on this significant stage.

Though the team did not medal at the recent WIFA Tournament in St. Vincent, the experience helped identify areas for growth and reaffirmed the focus on discipline, structure, and fundamentals.

Gustave highlighted the challenge ahead against a formidable Jamaica team but remains confident in the Sisserou Girls’ readiness to give their all.

“Our focus has been discipline, structure, and simply the basics and fundamentals. This is a major test for us against a regional powerhouse, but our women are ready to give their all for Dominica. And as we saw recently in Curacao’s qualifier in the men’s, anything is possible and small islands can do big things. The players have worked hard, and we are ready,” he continued.

The squad has been strengthened by the addition of several overseas-based players, including Jewel Harve and Trinity Esprit, joining the full roster of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and strikers.

With strong support from coaching and medical staff, the Sisserou Girls are set to compete fiercely in Group B, which includes Jamaica, Guyana, Nicaragua, and Antigua and Barbuda.

The Dominica Football Association encourages all fans and nationals worldwide to rally behind the team as they proudly carry the flag of the Nature Isle with courage and determination.
