Former Head of Marketing and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors for Discover Dominica Authority, Nikima Royer Jno Baptiste has set history becoming the first Dominican National to be appointed in the role of Digicel’s Chief Executive Officer for its Dominican operations.
Nikima Royer Jno Baptiste who hails from the village of Vieille case brings over ten years’ executive experience to the role having joined Digicel as a Customer Care Operations Manager for Digicel Play in 2014.
She has also served in senior roles across several sectors including General Manager at the rain forest aerial tram and Vice President for the Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association.
Speaking with DBS News, the new Digicel CEO says she is up for the challenge.
She says the company plans to work closely with the cooperate and business clientele to better put them in a position to take advantage of the advances in technology.
Digicel also announced that Nathalie Walsh has been promoted to Head of Commercial with responsibility for both Digicel Play and its mobile operations.
