The Government of Dominica has extended the period of exemption on the list of 26 VAT-exempt goods for a further four months.
This was announced by the Minister for Finance, Dr Irving McIntyre, in Parliament this morning.

Meantime, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has supported the exemptions on Value Added Tax (VAT) and Import Duties on a series of goods for a further 4 months.
Prime Minister Skerrit said the motion before the house has far-reaching positive implications for the citizens of Dominica.
