Former prime minister of Dominica Edison James says the late Francois Barrie was an outstanding citizen who cared deeply for the people of the Kalinago Territory.
Barrie, a former MP for the Kalinago Territory, passed at his home on Sunday after having spent time at the Dominica/China Friendship Hospital over the last few weeks.
He served in the former UWP Government between 1995 and 2000 as a Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Sports.
James says even after exiting the political arena, the late Barrie was focused on the development of the Kalinago Territory.
