Leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP) and Attorney-at-Law, Joshua Francis, is advocating for the establishment of a government-assisted Men’s Bureau as part of a broader, national strategy to address rising crime in Dominica.
Francis said many violent crimes are linked to the actions or inactions of young men, and argued that focused institutional support is now necessary.
He called for both short-term and long-term programs, including direct outreach to at-risk youth through dialogue rather than confrontation.
