The Ministry of Education has announced that date for the 2018 Grade Six National Assessment will be moved from May to June.

Minister for Education Petter St Jean said following the passage of Hurricane Maria students were unable to attend schools for a long period of time.

He said this is among reasons why the date has been moved back by a few weeks.

St Jean said further that schools are expected to resume normal operations in the new school term which commences in April.
