President of the United Progressive Party Joshua Francis says the party stands ready to contest the country’s next General Elections.
The United Progressive Party, which was officially established in May 2024 as a political party, recently appointed a new executive to lead the affairs of the party.
Francis says if general election is to be called soon, 4 candidates have already shown interest in contesting the elections.
