Thousand Benefit from Cuba Funded Eye Care Program in Dominica

The Cuban Ambassador to Dominica says his countries commitment to the development of Dominica has remained solid.

H.E Juan Carlos Frometa De La Rosa made the statement during a ceremony at Petite Savanne Primary in Bath Estate in which the Cuba funded I Can See Clearly Program was introduced to the media.

Under the program, 13, 000 Dominican students have been assessed for eye care problems.

Meantime, Principal of the Petite Savanne Primary School, Fanuelle Hilaire has endorsed the School vision Programme.

May 18, 2017 marked twenty-one years of diplomatic relations between the Commonwealth of Dominica and the Republic of Cuba.
