Two candidates have confirmed their participation in the Grandbay by-election set for November 25.
Ambassador Dr. Vince Henderson was nominated this morning on a Dominica Labour Party ticket, while Julius Handbag Gabriel was nominated as an independent candidate.
Dr. Henderson, who is a former member of parliament for the St Joseph constituency, told reporters the support from Grandbay is overwhelming. Meantime, Independent candidate Julius “Handbag,” Gabriel said he entered the race to give the Constituency the representation it deserves.
