Two day housing and construction forum gets underway at the Windsor Park

A two day housing and construction forum post Hurricane Maria, being organized by the Dominica Business Forum, got underway at the Windsor Park on Wednesday.

President of the Dominica Business Forum Severin McKenzie is of the view that public education is key to the success of Dominica’s building back better resilient campaign.

McKenzie says Maria has exposed significant weaknesses in the structural integrity of many buildings across the island, and that the forum is timely if the country is to build back better.

Meantime Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce, Enterprise and Small Business Development Esther Thomas says the forum provides an opportunity for everyone.
