The National Under-16 Netball Team is intensifying its preparation as the coaching staff moves closer to finalizing the squad for the upcoming Jean Pierre Caribbean Youth Netball Tournament, which gets underway on April 8 in Trinidad and Tobago.

One of the Coaches, Melissa Alfred, has confirmed that the initial pool of forty players has been trimmed to twenty-two (22) following a series of assessments during ongoing training sessions.

The coaching staff is expected to further reduce the squad in the coming weeks, with a final roster of twelve (12) players to be selected ahead of the regional competition.
