UWP leader Dr Thompson Fontaine has said he will not step down.
His statement came on the Q95 Talk on the Block program in response to party supporters who are questioning his continuing employment in South Sudan, while the leads the United Workers Party.
Dr. Fontaine says his commitment as party leader has remained strong and is encouraging supporters to join the movement to secure a better Dominica.
