Val Cuffy speaks on his resignation from the DFC

Former Events Manager at the Dominica Festivals Committee Val Cuffy says he resigned his position from the DFC because he was unable to operate in the current environment.

Cuffy handed  in his resignation last week, but indicated that he would be willing to stay in the position until after the carnival.

However on Thursday, he was given orders that the resignation would take effect immediately.

Cuffy also accused the chairman Benoit Bardouille of micromanaging the affairs at the DDA and DFC, and has called on the Government to step in and take control of the situation.
