Veteran cricket commentator Ossie Lewis has expressed concerns about Dr. Kishore Shallow, the current President of Cricket West Indies (CWI), following his recent appointment as Minister of Tourism in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Lewis described the situation as “difficult and delicate,” noting that Dr. Shallow now faces the challenge of balancing two highly demanding roles.
While Dr. Shallow has publicly stated that he believes he can manage both responsibilities, Lewis questioned whether such an arrangement is sustainable in the long term.
The Veteran Cricket Commentator also raised the issue of potential conflict of interest, noting that simultaneously promoting national tourism while overseeing regional cricket administration could create challenges.
