The lead Engineer on the West bridge project and associated works, Alexis George says the project is on schedule to be completed on time in May.
The bridge is being funded by monies from the citizenship by investment program, with construction firm NSG from Barbados as the main contractors.
The project includes the building of a new bridge, retaining walls and dredging of the river.
