3 Dominicans have been named in the Windward Islands Volcanoes team for the upcoming Regional Super 50 overs tournament which gets underway next week.
Kavem Hodge, Gilon Tyson and Stephan Pascal will form part of the team which was announced on Monday evening.
The squad will be led Sunil Ambris.
Ambris takes over the captaincy from Alick Athanaze, who became unavailable due to international cricketing duties.
The Regional Super 50 overs tournament will be played in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Volcanoes’ first game will be a day/night game on Tuesday, October 29th against the Guyana Harpy Eagles.
The full Windwards team is Sunil Ambris (Captain), Ryan John, Jeremy Solozano, Shamar Springer, Dillon Douglas, Kavem Hodge, Stephan Pascal, Shadrack Descarte, Desron Maloney, Gilon Tyson, Johnnel Eugene, Darel Cyrus, Kenneth Dember and Daurius Martin.
The team will be coached by Kenroy Peters, with former Windies player Carlton Baugh as the Assistant Coach.
Liam Sebastien is Team Manager.
