An additional 60 police recruits will begin training in October.
That announcement was made by Minister for National Security Rayburn Blackmoore during a press briefing on Monday.
Backmoore said the Ministry of National Security has also engaged the services of a retired Police Superintendent to train police officers in report writing and the collection of evidence.
