A 23-year-old female of Silver Lake has died as a result of gunshot wounds.
Curtilia Charles was shot at Silver Lake last night, and succumbed to her injuries later at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
She was among two women shot and transported to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.
Meantime, one man is in custody with reference to a recent shooting at Morne Prosper.
Police are not confirming reports that the Morne Prosper shooting may have sparked the incident at Silver Lake last night.
The police are asking the public for assistance as they investigate last night’s shooting at Silver Lake.
