Catholic priest Father Branker John has called for an end to partisan politics within the village councils in Dominica.
His call came during a church service to officially start Local Government Month, being observed under the theme ‘Building Strong Partnerships for Sustained Community Resilience’.
Father John says wanting to advance the affairs of the community should be the only reason to enter into local government authority.
