A Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Public Awareness Campaign has been launched in Dominica

Minister for National Security, Rayburn Blackmoore, says Dominica needs to develop a robust security network and infrastructure to address crime.

He made this announcement during the launch of the Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Public Awareness Campaign this morning.

Blackmoore emphasised that more than traditional security measures are required to effectively tackle the emergence of new crimes in society.

The campaign, launched in partnership with CARICOM IMPACS and the OECS Commission, aims to bolster public understanding of cybersecurity and cybercrime across Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
