A Dominican artist has called on the public to protect the World Creole Music Festival.
Michele Henderson told a DBS Creole music festival program on Friday afternoon that negative public statements about the annual event should be discouraged.
Her comments came as she prepares to perform at the 25th edition of the festival from October 24-26.
The Dominican artist has pointed to the success stories of the festival over the last 25 years.
