A draft management plan for establishing a Sperm Whale Reserve in Dominica is set to be finalized soon.
Chief Fisheries Officer Derrick Theophille says the Ministry is working closely with the Tourism Sector to bring the reserve to fruition.
The Government of Dominica announced its commitment to creating a Sperm Whale Reserve off the western side of the island in November 2023.
