The Dominica Calypso Association has a new executive.
Daddy Chess, Karessah, Peter Letang, Bingo, Oracle, Royette, Tronada and Mystery were elected at the weekend.
They will join Joey Lloyd, who is the only other member from the last executive eligible to remain on the executive.
The new executive will now decide on a president and other positions.
The elections became necessary after the term of the Davidson ‘Observer’ Victor led executive came to an end.
Meanwhile, the calypso eliminations are set for December 2025.
