Minister for the Environment Cozier Frederick says a number of measures are being put in place to deal with waste collection in Dominica.
The island has been experiencing a delay in waste collection due to the lack of resources.
Frederick reassured Dominicans that government remains committed to ensuring that this issue is resolved in a timely manner.

Meantime, General Manager of the Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation (DSWMC), Florian Mitchel says the Corporation has made progress in addressing waste collection across the island.
