A police command center has been established to ensure the safety of patrons at the World Creole Music Festival

Assistant Commissioner of Police Alleyne Maximen says the police have established systems including a police command center to ensure the safety of patrons at the World Creole Music Festival.

The 25th edition of the World Creole Music festival opens at Windsor Park today.

Mr. Maximen says the police will be strict about the use of prohibited items.

Meantime Acting Superintendent of Police responsible for the Central Division Delvin Jno Lewis says traffic arrangements will be implemented to facilitate the staging of the World Creole Music Festival.
