A pupil of Jones Beaupierre Primary School of Laplaine is Dominica’s carnival princess 2025.
Dannicia Newton captured the coveted title at Windsor Park Stadium forecourt last night, as she beat Tiara Wolf of Paix Bouche Primary into second place.
C’Ariyah Jno Pierre of Convent Prep placed third.
Carnival princess Dannicia Newtown took awards for Best Talent, Best in Costume and also copped the People’s Choice Award.

Other major awards went to Tiara Wolf of Paix Bouche Primary Miss Intelligence, Marlinda Peters of Caulihaut Best Costume and Miss Congeniality, and Aaliyha Rossi of St Martin Primary Best Party Dress, Best in Party Dress and Miss Photogenic.
