Acting Chief of Police Davidson Valerie says the police acted lawfully in dispersing protestors in the Canefield area yesterday.
On Wednesday, members of the Tipper Truckers Association staged protest action asking the authorities to provide them with employment.
The Police Chief made this statement during a press briefing today.
