The Criminal Investigation Department has begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of 47-year-old Arthur Bozel of Goodwill, who resides in the US and was on vacation in Dominica.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening on Independence Street in Roseau.
Tyron Jarvis, 4O year old of 83 Hillsborough street and Massacre and co proprietor of T-Js Enterprizes, is in police custody, assisting with the investigation.
Information from the police points to the death being unrelated to carnival.
