Chairperson of the Pointe Michel Village Council Ronillia Williams has described awardees of the La Salette church community as pillars of faith.
Her statement came during an awards ceremony organized by the Village Council at Pointe Michel on Sunday.
The Village Council chairperson told the awardees that they have served the church with distinction.

Among the La Salette church community awardees were Reverend Monsignor Dr. Reginald La Fleur, Frances Casimir, Olive Ryan, Bertilia Paula Mc Aulay, Theodora Rhoda Basdeo, Eustace Bellvue, Nadia Williams and Sonia Williams.
Others recognized were Carol Activille, Charmaine Gregoire, Algernan Degallarie, Laura Celaire, Antia Rosie Royer, Gustav Williams, Sandra Lantan, Stacey Lantan, Evelyn Etienne and Marie Wilkins.
