
The BAA Sharks took an early lead in the DABA Premier League Finals, edging the Paix Bouche Eagles 70–66 in game one of their best-of-five series over the weekend at the Massacre Indoor Facility.
Jimmol Peltier and Christian Scotland each scored 19 points, while Jaiden Scotland added 16 to help the Sharks secure the win.
For the Eagles, Lenin Paul led all scorers with 26 points, while Shamar Felicité and Caelan Paul chipped in with 13 each.
Sharks coach Calian Scotland said it was important to start the series strong.
Meanwhile, Paix Bouche Eagles Assistant Coach, Anthony Joseph remains confident his team can bounce back.

Also in the exhibition match prior to game one of the DABA Premier League Finals, the 767 Masters defeated the Masters of Guadeloupe 62–41.
Hakim Danglenben scored 20 points and Donnie Robinson added 16 for the 767 Masters, while Jean Denis Didier led Guadeloupe with 15.
