Contracts valued at over $5 million dollars signed to further advance Dominica’s agricultural recovery

Contracts valued at over $5 million dollars have been signed in an effort to further advance Dominica’s agricultural recovery.

Eleven contracts, which forms part of the Emergency Agricultural Livelihood and Climate Resilience Project, were signed at the State House Conference Centre this morning.

Minister for Tourism Denise Charles Pemberton presented Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit at this morning’s contract signing ceremony.

Among the contracts signed today were for rehabilitation of the Waitukubuli National Trail segments 4 and 11, improvement works at the Newtown and Fond Cole fish landing sites, development of the Portsmouth Feed Mixing Plant, Material for boat building, refurbishment of DEXIA multipurpose pack house, irrigation equipment and supplies, and supply of lumber.
