The Dominica Cricket Association (DCA) has confirmed the appointments of Liam Sebastien as a Windward Islands Board Director and Kimara Hurtault to the DCA Selection Panel.
Sebastien was chosen by his peers to serve as a Windwards Board Director, joining First Vice President Jamie Jno Baptiste in representing Dominica at the regional level. His appointment follows the untimely passing of DCA Treasurer Jesse Bardouille.
Currently serving as Second Vice President of the DCA, Sebastien said he is honoured by the opportunity and looks forward to contributing to the advancement of cricket both in Dominica and throughout the Windward Islands.
In another historic move, Hurtault has been appointed to the Association’s Selection Panel, becoming the first female selector in the DCA’s history.
Her appointment signals a progressive step for the organization and reinforces ongoing efforts to promote inclusivity and strengthen the development of women’s cricket in Dominica.
Hurtault, who also serves as the Association’s Public Relations Officer, expressed her commitment to playing an active role in strengthening cricket on island through fair and strategic selection processes.
