Quinton de Kock smashed 90 off just 47 balls to lead South Africa to a commanding 51-run victory over India, leveling their T20 series 1–1.
Sent in to bat, South Africa posted a strong total of 213 for 4.
De Kock’s explosive innings set the tone, with Donovan Ferreira adding 30, Aiden Markram 29, and David Miller 20. For India, Varun Chakravarthy took 2 for 29 while Axar Patel claimed 1 for 27.
India, in pursuit of 214, were bowled out for 162 in the final over. Tilak Varma top-scored with 62, followed by Jitesh Sharma with 27, Axar Patel with 21, and Hardik Pandya with 20.
Ottniel Baartman produced the standout bowling performance for South Africa, taking 4 for 24 from his 4 overs. Lungi Ngidi, Marco Jansen, and Lutho Sipamla each picked up two wickets.
