Vice President of the Dominica Diabetes Association Carlton Lanquedoc says diabetes is the 4th major cause of death in Dominica.
Lanquedoc says the Association is on a drive to increase awareness and empower individuals about diabetes.
Thursday was observed as World Diabetes Day under the theme “Breaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps”.
