President of the Dominica Essential Oils and Spices Cooperative Philip Guiste says the last few years have been challenging, but the cooperative is optimistic going forward.
Mr Guiste told the annual general meeting of the Essential Oils and Spices cooperative at Goodwill Parish Hall on Sunday that they have experienced a drop in sales and competition from abroad.

The cooperative recognised two of its long-standing members on Sunday.
They are Arthur Francis of Bagatelle and Michael Laurent of Petit Savanne.
