Representatives from 32 countries across the Americas have gathered in Dominica for the 47th Meeting of the Inter-American Telecommunication Commission.
The meeting, which is taking place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Portsmouth, is being hosted in Dominica for the first time.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Minister of State with responsibility for Telecommunications and Broadcasting, Chekira Lockhart-Hypolite, says Dominica is continuing to strengthen its digital and communications infrastructure.

The Minister also encouraged greater adoption of emerging technologies, including advancements in telecommunications.
