Dominica’s Agriculture Minister Roland Royer says Government has maintained its goal of increasing the contribution of agriculture to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to 700 million dollars by 2030.
He says another goal is to reduce imports of meat by 40 percent.
Royer’s announcement came as Dominica observes World Food Day today under the theme, ‘Hand in Hand for Better Foods and Better Future’.
