Dominica’s Health Minister Cassani Laville said the country will continue to monitor developments regarding the Mpox virus.
The World Health Organization on August 14, 2024 declared Mpox a public health emergency of international concern.
Laville, who is Chairman of the Executive Board of the Caribbean Public health Agency (CARPHA) says Dominica put an Mpox action plan in place last year.
