Dominicans Jerlani Robinson and Kyron Phillip have been named to the Windward Islands Volcanoes training squad for the upcoming regional Super 50 overs tournament.

Dominican’s Jerlani Robinson and Kyron Phillip have been included in the Windward Islands volcanoes training squad ahead of the upcoming regional super 50 overs tournament.

Robinson a top-order batsman and Kyron Phillip a promising bowling all-rounder are among several players from the windwards selected for the volcanoes training camp ahead of the super 50 overs tournament which starts in October.

Speaking on the off-the-field program last night, the Windward Islands Volcanoes Manager and selector Liam Sebastien says the players have the opportunity to make the Volcanoes team if they perform well in the series of trial matches.

Gillon Tyson, Stephan Pascal, Kavem Hodge, and Khamal Hamilton are the contracted Dominicans on the team.

Meantime windward Island Cricket Vice President Clement Marcellin is hoping the volcanoes can take the next step and win the regional title this year.
