
Dominicans who reside abroad have been told that their right to vote in Dominica will be protected.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit told a discussion of the Dominica Business Forum at the Public Service Union that electoral reform which is underway in Dominica will make provision for Dominicans abroad to return home to register.
Mr. Skerrit said Government is on course to pass three electoral reform bills in Parliament in the first quarter of the year
He noted that Government will embark on Constitutional Reform in the future.

Meantime, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Vince Henderson is throwing his support behind moves by Government to ensure that Dominicans who reside abroad are given the opportunity to vote in general elections.
