Dominica’s Electoral Reform process enters a new phase

Dominica’s Electoral Reform process has entered a new phase with the signing of a $3.4-million-dollar agreement with a company from Belgium.

The agreement was signed at the office of the Electoral Commission between the Electoral Commission and SEMLEX company of Belgium, for the provision of a voter identification system and software which will facilitate the process of confirmation.

The confirmation period for Dominica is set to begin on September 1, 2025 to August 30 2026.
