Minister for Tourism Denise Charles Pemberton said the extension and grooving of the runway at the Douglas Charles Airport will significantly boost air access into Dominica.
Mrs. Pemberton led a site visit to the Douglas Charles Airport earlier this week to provide a progress report on the extension and grooving works being undertaken.
The Tourism Minister added the extension and grooving works have resulted in less cancellation of flights at the Douglas Charles Airport.
