The Dominica Electricity Services Company Limited DOMLEC is anticipating the approval of the four percent increase in electricity tariff rates.
Speaking on DOMLEC’S Power talk program this morning, Acting Accountant at DOMLEC Quentin Gregoire, says this increase will not result in higher bills for customers.
The tariff approval is conditional, subject to the outcome of the Independent Regulatory Commission (IRCs) consultations with the public.

Gregoire says the generation of geothermal energy, along with the new tariff design, will provide benefits to DOMLEC.
