Central Cooperative Credit Union Dublanc FC overcame a two-goal deficit on Sunday to defeat Valvoline WE United FC in the finals of the DFA Champions Cup at the DFA technical center.
CCCUL Dublanc FC had to put in the effort as WE United dominated the first half and appeared to be in control to achieve their first-ever victory over Dublanc, jumping up to an early 2-nil lead.
But just before halftime, Dublanc FC scored two goals to even the score at 2-2.
The second half was all Dublanc FC, as they put 4 unanswered goals past WE United.
WE United also didn’t help their cause as they were reduced to 10 men. Dublanc FC walked away 6-2 winners.
Briel Thomas and Audel Laville got 2 goals each, while Chad Bertrand and Shikel St Marie also scored for Dublanc. Roosevelt Copiel and Jahill Alexander netted for WE United.
