Acting Prime Minister Dr. Irving McIntyre has told farmers and vendors that they are the backbone of the Dominica economy.
His statement came at Market Day with A Difference at the Roseau Market on Saturday.

He announced that DEXIA has paid out over $2 million US dollars to farmers under an initiative which came into effect last year.
