Four million dollars has been paid to port workers to resolve a long-standing salary dispute with the Dominica Air and Seaport Authority.
The impasse dates back to 24 years ago when the salaries of stevedores and longshoremen were reduced by 33 percent.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit presented the cheque to the union representing the employees this afternoon.
