The Government of Dominica has come in for commendation for the awards bestowed on Olympic gold medalist Thea Lafond Gadson.
President of the Dominica Olympic Committee Billy Doctrove said government’s recognition of the gold medalist was a move in the right direction.
Thea Lafond Gadson is set to receive Dominica’s highest national award, a $400,000-dollar gift, a portion of land and a diplomatic passport among other rewards.
